About the Elite Report: The Elite Report is the biggest and most comprehensive bank test of its kind and is conducted independently with no commission from an agency or organisation. The idea behind it is to put offerings in the financial sector to the acid test. Because money is a matter of trust, but choosing a suitable expert is often a matter of luck. This is why testers take on the role of potential clients and analyse selected private banks - from the initial contact and consultation all the way to the investment recommendation. A questionnaire makes the various qualities measurable and comparable.
Guiding principle: The focus is on the people. A total of 348 institutions were analysed and evaluated for the Elite Report 2017. Depending on the number of points achieved, the honours that are awarded range from "cum laude" to "magna cum laude" to the highest distinction of "summa cum laude". The Elite Report is published in cooperation with the daily newspaper Handelsblatt and is always conducted according to the guiding principle of "The focus is on the people, not the money that earns a return".
